Have
you ever bought an automobile that was a Lemon? Did you
ever try to deal with the manufacturer or car dealer regarding
your Lemon?
There
is now a FREE service to help Consumers and Business resolve
issues that involve Lemon Law.
What
is a Lemon? A Lemon can be defined as `A vehicle that
continues to have a non-conformity that substantially
impairs its use, value or safety.' Lemon Law differs in
various jurisdictions. You can findthe details on what
is considered a Lemon problem in your State and what you
can do about it at the free Legal Resource Center.
Is
your car a Lemon? `If the paint is peeling, the light
switch came out when you pulled on it, the car makes `funny
noises' but otherwise drives just fine, or you found ten
things you do not like about your new car but none of
them prevent you from driving it, then NO, you do NOT
have a Lemon.'
`If
the brakes don't work, the car won't go into reverse gear,
the darn thing won't start on cold mornings or hot afternoons,
the rear door opens all by itself, the driver's seat wobbles,
or the car chugs along at 30mph when it should be going
50mph, then YES, you may have a Lemon, provided you have
given the manufacturer an opportunity to repair the defect.'
Lemon
Law protects consumers when they buy a defective product.
When you suspect you have a Lemon, you need to prove that
it is a Lemon in order to benefit from the law. Fill in
the repair log that is available at the Legal Resource
Center. Be sure to record every repair event. Depending
on what State you purchased and registered your car in,
you can determine if you simply need to file a complaint
or if you need legal advice.
If
you have a defective motorcycle, motor home, used car,
leased car, or a car used for business purposes, you still
have recourse even if the Lemon Law does not cover these
vehicles in your State. Search the Legal Resource Center
and find the information that you need.
To
file a complaint for Arbitration, there is a list of manufacturers,
the arbitration system, and the phone number to callin
your jurisdiction. Learn what information you should take
to your Attorney to start a Lemon Law claim and whether
or not you can recover Attorney fees.
Legal
service plans which provide unlimited consultation with
an Attorney are available in most States. Easy online
sign-up gives you access top quality legal advice when
you realize that your major investment is in fact a Lemon.
